While we might not be able to lay claim to a champion left hook, we certainly can relate to the great boxers out there when it comes to being able to think on your feet and respond to a tight situation! When it comes to events, you need to be able to always have a way to come out on top and make it the best success it can be.
This weekend we will be providing our full audio/visual service to the first event from On the Ropes boxing team, The Rising, and it has got us thinking about how important it is to have that same in-ring sharpness when you come to plan an event.
We often get approached by clients who are seeking advice on what to do as their event plans have changed. There are a number of reasons why this happens. You could be in the fortunate position where your event needs to be bigger due to unexpected demand (lucky you!), or your original plans have become unsustainable to support your event. In some cases you may have simply changed your mind on what to do!
With any of these it is important to have a plan B in place, or at least have someone like Precise on hand to figure it out for you. The most common request we see is the need for extra equipment to cater for the events needs.
Picture the scene, you have spent months planning and promoting your event, with 1000 people expected to turn up you realise your sound system is more suited to a venue with 200 people capacity. This is where we can help, and we have time and again through the years.
As important as it is to make sure you are always ready to react to any potential situations, you can always avoid these arising with some careful planning from the outset. We are on hand to help you with either, whether it is to assist you with some last minute changes to your event, or planning from the start. We can do a full site survey and advise you on a bespoke equipment setup which will make sure that your event is a knockout!
