Through the years we have been lucky to work with some of the biggest names in entertainment, it is a great perk of working within events, and despite our many years within the industry, when it comes to working with the stars no-one is more experienced than the largest member of the Precise team…the GigRig!
Now playing host to multiple music acts, dancers and even politicians, believe it or not the GigRig actually got its start in life as a crew truck working on the set of some of Hollywood’s biggest film franchises. From Star Wars to James Bond, the GigRig was there during the creation of the silver screen’s most beloved films.
Once based at the world famous Pinewood Studios right here in the UK, Precise were lucky enough to be able to give the GigRig a new home and is now enjoying a new lease of life as the country’s most accessible portable event stage.
Being a portable stage means that it is perfect for outdoor event setups, and despite its Hollywood roots, the GigRig is actually perfectly suited to a life on the road. Since becoming part of the Precise fleet we have seen more and more customers turning to the GigRig for its unique qualities, aside frombeing portable, it brings a little wow factor to each event!
Thanks to a few customizations, we have made the GigRig the ultimate portable stage solution. Perfect for bands, dancers or even some public speaking, we simply roll up, set up and roll out a memorable event each time.
Of course, we never want to forget the roots of the GigRig, which is why when making the necessary customisations we made sure we kept some of its features that throwback to its glamorous past, one in particular we think is extra special. When performers enter the stage, if they look up they will see the red filming light which film crews would use to let them know quiet on set.
