Bike4Life 2015
Precise Events play key part in Bike4Life 2015
On the 26th April the Precise crew from the Glasgow and Birmingham offices headed to RAF Cosford for Bike4Life 2015.
Now in its fifth year, Bike4Life is the biking event that kick starts the motorcycle season. In previous years it has attracted over 8,000 bikers and enthusiasts from across the UK.
Three vans and two trucks full of sound and backline equipment headed to the RAF base where the Precise team set about building two stages with concert sound . Over the course of the day the Precise team sound engineered all of the bands provided by Planet Rock.
Richard Green who heads up Precise Events in the Midlands had overall responsibility for ensuring that both stages ran smoothly and on time. We had a team of 10 technicians on site taking care of the all the bands sound and backline requirements.
The much anticipated 23 mile ride out led by Carl Fogarty and Richard Hammond started from Meole Brace in Shrewsbury and finished at RAF Museum Cosford near Wolverhampton, which is home to the Bike4Life Festival.
There were plenty of arena displays, stalls and exhibitions, biker tutorials raising awareness of road safety. Our Gig Rig stage was used by Planet Rock radio for live bands, the atmosphere among the bikers was electric.
It was a great day out for bikers, the local community and families alike and the Precise team were delighted to be involved. We were delighted to be involved in such a worthwhile event which raised £45,000 for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
