The events industry can be hard work, but it can also be incredibly rewarding! Sure you may find yourself working long hours, you may even get called mad, but take it from us – when it comes to events there is no substitute for going over and above. This weekend we are going all out, supplying five events with audio and event equipment in the space of 48 hours!

First up on our manic schedule this weekend is a trip to Greenock for the Festival of Fire. This event celebrates everything surrounding fire safety and aims to raise awareness. Featuring a rally of fire engines from over the decades, people can join in to see how the vehicles work and enjoy some fire safety demonstrations and promises to be a great day out for the family.

We sadly will not be able to stay for long and will be quickly on our way to a fashion show in Glasgow’s West End. All in support of the National Deaf Children’s Society, we will be supplying some equipment at the show, we will not be modelling, much to everyone’s disappointment we are sure!

From here some of the team will then make a quick dash to East Kilbride to drop off some audio equipment for a client. Afterwards it is then time to head to the Falkirk Town Hal to supply the sound for Johnny Lee Memphis, a world champion tribute to the king of rock n roll, Elvis!

Four events throughout Saturday, so it would be safe to say that a well deserved rest would be in order…but the Precise team will be still going! Following the show in Falkirk we will stop for a quick coffee at our unit, then set off once again down the toon…and by toon we of course mean Newcastle.

Driving down past the border for a 6am start, we will be setting up for the latest Subway 5k Challenge at Town Moor in the heart of the city. A marathon end to a marathon weekend for the whole team at Precise!

Five events, 407 miles, and eight and half hours of travel time later, we will finally be back at our unit in Glasgow, ready to take on the week ahead. Like we said, it is hard work, but certainly rewarding, we say bring it on! You can stay up to date with us and check out our video progress on our Facebook and Twitter pages through the weekend!
